I am a mom… but before that, I was an asian drama binge watcher.
Ever since I discovered asian dramas, which started with chinese dramas, then japanese drama, kdrama, and later on thai drama, I was a non-stop binge watcher. I am the type who doesn’t want to watch ongoing dramas because I would rather watch the whole series continuously.
Chinese Drama

Chinese dramas are my go to dramas when I am feeling stressed or just wanted to relax. They have a calming effect on me. They have this kind of touch where you will feel all giggled up and just fall in love like when you were young. Their plot is always or maybe most of what I chose to watch has sweet and light love story and most of the time almost predictable but it always give you that breath of fresh air.

Korean Drama
I also fell in love with Kdramas, they have very good storyline, a lot of twist and surprises. They are short as compared to Chinese dramas but they make you feel that you want to watch for more. However, Kdrama are sometimes complicated and some storyline are stressful. Maybe some people love those kind of plots, but for me who just wants to relax sometimes don’t want to watch some korean dramas with this kind of plot even though a lot of people has recommended them. Because for me, my reason would always be “I am watching this to be relax, not to be stressed of the protagonist on my chill time.”

Thai Drama

Thai drama or best know as lakorn was introduced to me by my friend when I was in college. It was kind of awkward at first because I was not used to listening the language but eventually there are some lakorn that made me hooked. Lakorns are my go to drama when I feel like I wanted to channel my sadness or pain. Why? Because most of the lakorn plots are slap and kiss or like cinderella plot. And the moment I watch this, I can always vent out my feelings, that sometimes I feel shedding some tears.

Japanese Drama

Japanese drama/ Jdramas/ J Dorama are the dramas that I very seldom watch. Although I was hooked of this during my highschool years, thanks to Jun Matsumoto. But now, it seems that I only have watched very few that I liked.
So I have shared here my love for dramas and soon I might also share the latest dramas that I am watching.
