Which activities make you lose track of time?

Being a mother, a wife, and a full-time employee, having time for myself alone is already a luxury for me at present. It is seldom to happen but it is worth it for my wellbeing as a person.

I know that a lot of mommas can relate to this, as this is very common because not everyone has the means to pay for a nanny, or not everyone has someone who can support them in taking care of the babies. But even so, most mothers change their focus to their babies as soon as they go out in this world. Some even lost their opportunity to care for themselves as they are just so swamped with their responsibilities whether it’s at home or both home and work.

Personally, I make it a point to make sure I have my me-time and even talked it out with my husband. He even suggests it to me even before the baby came out because he wanted to make sure that I am taking care of my welfare and wellbeing.

So as a way to have my own little cozy solace, I still continue my hobbies. And despite having multiple hobbies, my husband has always been very supportive and I know I am so lucky to have him.

My hobbies are not complicated but they do change depending on my mood. But one thing is for sure, I lost track of time every time. For that reason, I don’t start them when I know I will be interrupted.

Here are the activities that will definitely make me lost track of time. :

1. Arts and crafts

This includes making a scrapbook, crafts using my cricut joy, and also soon I will be quite busy making my daughter’s baby book.

2. Watching Drama Series and Movies

This is what always takes my time most. Although now, after being a mom, my time watching my favorite series has been cut short and I can only do this during a short time when my baby is asleep or one hour before bedtime.

Watching drama series and movies has also been my solace for a long time now. Asian dramas such as those Korean, Chinese, and Thai are my favorite. Sometimes I do watch Japanese as well.

They all have a special place in my time. ☺️

For that reason, I will be sharing my favorite dramas soon in this blog as well.

3. Reading Mangas and Books

Oh! I love reading as well.

You can see the books I’ve read here: http://www.goodreads.com/littlecozysolace

I don’t have a list of the mangas I’ve read but I mostly like rom-com and shoujo. Also, I won’t forget Manhwas, they are nice as well.

4. Watching Anime

I am not as addicted to anime as others but I have my fair share of favorite animes as well and I still do watch some from time to time now.

5. Cooking and Baking

Lastly, this is also one of the activities that make me lose track of time. My love for food made this possible. I am not very good but I am learning especially now that I need to make food for my daughter. I have a very picky taste tester that always gives me an accurate rating.

I think as you have read by now, I do have a lot of activities on my plate. Although I am not doing this all at the same time, I mostly do this depending on my mood.
